  Early Life and Education: Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, a small town in the state of Gujarat, India. His father, Damodardas Mulchand Modi, ran a small tea stall, and his mother, Hiraben, was a homemaker. Modi completed his schooling from Vadnagar and then pursued higher studies at Gujarat University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
