Early Life and Education: Narendra Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, a small town in the state of Gujarat, India. His father, Damodardas Mulchand Modi, ran a small tea stall, and his mother, Hiraben, was a homemaker. Modi completed his schooling from Vadnagar and then pursued higher studies at Gujarat University, where he obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. He did not complete his Master's degree in Political Science as he became involved in political activities. Entry into Politics: Modi joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), a right-wing Hindu nationalist organization, at a young age and worked for its student wing, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), during his college days.
